Accreditation

Regional accreditation is the primary type of institutional accreditation in the United States. Boston University is regionally accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC, Inc.). In addition, Boston University holds accreditation from the National Association of Schools of Music (NASM) founded in 1924, is an organization of schools, conservatories, colleges and universities with over 600 accredited institutional members. It establishes national standards for undergraduate and graduate degrees and other credentials. The Physical Therapy program is accredited by The Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE).
